In 2008, the Board of Deacons and Elders, at the direction of Bishop George W. Hawkins, began to examine the future needs and challenges of the church. Based on this examination, the Board decided to establish a Building Committee to explore the feasibility of building a facility to meet our future needs which would include:

- An Elevator
- Gymnasium
- Larger Dining Facility
- Youth/Recreation Room
- Larger Stage and
- Classrooms


After several months of research, the Committee recommended that we put an addition onto the current building, see the sketch below. We are now in the planning stage of the building's development.
